does that count as scamming?
Nah, it's just balancing out the universe.

I did buy Trade Contracts about 200 gold each and then turned them to rare crafting material and sold them to rare crafting material NPC. However it was back then because in this game making platinium is much harder than games like WoW, LOTRO, etc. However it went back then by logic "customer is always right". I did not whisper spammed them to sell me trade contracts. Nowadays I would not do that.

Best sort of scam thing but wasn't really a scam, i was buying 25 ectos but the guy put up 250 by accident so i got 250 ectos for like 80k lol. if you guys seriuosly were about to get 225 free ectos, you're full of shit if you say you would tell the guy.
I would.

One time I was trading with some idiot (trying to sell him something). I wanted 70k for it but I needed to borrow a perfect salvage kit to take a mod off. We had been bartering back in forth and he had been showing money + items as offers, and when he offered the salvage kit, he didnt take off the 70k, and hit accept. I eventually accepted, and then when I was done salvaging, I gave the kit and his 70k back. He gave me an obs shard for my troubles, and being a "fair player" .

It is all about fun, for you and everyone else.

Do I scam: No

Have I been scammed: I guess you could say yes. Once "true friend" that I have known for over 2 years. One day he asks if he can borrow some ectos for his Fow Armor...I say sure and give him the 75 ectos he needed with all it being understood he would pay me back in about 2 weeks...

6 months later: Put on ignore and no ectos given back to me...GG when so called friends do it to you!

Nope sorry, can't says that I've ever been scammed, guess I'm just not stupid.

I still laugh when just about everyday someone posts about them being scammed by going outside and dropping the item.

I did the whole, "drop on the ground so I can see skin" thing, and had a R/A with some shadow step spell (the name escapes me right now) and picked it up. Those people had it coming to them though.

I really don't feel any remorse like most of you seem to. I'm not one that's like "THE INTERTUBEZ R SRS BSNS!!!!" It's just a place to f*k around in with no consequences.

I haven't scammed or been scammed but I know a fair few people who have been scammed....

People have tried to scam me, the gold submit instead of platinum, the mursaat token and not ecto etc.... but I spot and then cancel. And then when I mention in local the person is a scammer... the "noob scammer" insults come back from said person, although others then comment on said scammers.

Unfortunately there are idiots in the game who think it's fun to try and scam, tho the trade system now plainly says what is going on... being scammed is so much harder but I guess some people are rushing so much they still get scammed....

Scammers will never go away....
